Green and Smart is a Malaysian registered company established under the Malaysian Companies Act 1965 on 11 March 1980 as Mardec Engineering Sdn Bhd.It was primarilyinvolved in waste water treatment for the rubber industry before venturing into waste treatment for the Palm Oil Sector as this became an increasingly important market in Malaysia and Indonesia.

Green and Smart business experience for providing waste water treatment solutions includes design, development, engineering, procurement, construction, and consultation and the provision of ancillary services.

Over the years, Green and Smart has undertaken and completed numerous waste watertreatment projects in Asia including a World Bank project and 4 Biogas Capture facilities owned by Felda Plam Industries Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of FGV.

As result, Green and Smart has received a number of awards and accolades such as Industrial Excellence Award From Ministry of International Trade and Industry in 1998, SME Recognition Award From SME Corporation in 2009, BioNexus Bio Industrial Emerging Entrepreneur Award from the Ministry Of Science Technology And Innovation ,Malaysia in 2015 etc.

In 2008, Green and Smart was certified as a BioNexus Status Company and recognizes Green and Smart as a BIOTECH COMPANY. With this in hand, the Directors believe that Green and Smart’s ambition and growth prospects are underpinned by forecast growth in both the domestic and international markets of this Renewable Energy industrysector.
