BIOBORNEO 2015

Held on: 20&21 April 2015 at The Magellan Sutera. Sutera Harbour Resort, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah,Malaysia.

Bio Borneo 2015 in Kota Kinabalu provides the best avenue to explore bioeconomy opportunities in Borneo, as well as a platform for like-minded individuals and organisations to further share related knowledge, experience and in bioeconomy. Bio Borneo 2015 is also a platform for bioeconomy industry players to network through business matching sessions, while generally increasing awareness on the bioeconomic potential of Borneo biodiversity resources in driving new sources of economic growth in Sabah, and in Malaysia generally.

At this event, Our Energy Group (M) Sdn Bhd, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) majority owned-by Green & Smart Sdn Bhd has made a document exchange of a 2MW Biogas to Power plant in Telupid, Sabah together with Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) under the Feed-in-Tariff initiative promoted by the Government via Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA).

Megagreen Energy Sdn Bhd in which Green & Smart Sdn Bhd is a shareholder has completed a document exchange with Felcra Berhad to set-up a total of 6MW Biogas to Power plant in 5 Felcra Mills under the Feed-in-Tariff initiative promoted by the Government via Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA).

Autm Asia 2015 Kuala Lumpur

The Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) is a global networking platform that consists of more than 3,200 technology transfer professionals in academic, research, government, legal and commercial settings.

AUTM Asia is an annual event that highlights various product developments resulting from the efforts of academic technology transfer that benefits both the industries, in terms of efficiency and low cost-solutions, and the researchers, which will be exposed to industrial needs basis. Green & Smart was a Business Growth Fund recipient and our Chairman, Dr. Suhaimi Masduki was received the fund with the other 25 companies.

BioEconomy Malaysia 2015

Held on: 17 – 19 August 2015 at Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

The event was launch by YB Datuk Dr Abu Bakar Mohamad Diah, Deputy Minister of MOSTI. The Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI) and Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation (BiotechCorp) are proud to be the host of BioMalaysia & ASEAN Bioeconomy Conference & Exhibition 2015.
